Kentucky CancerLink works with other organizations that provide assistance to Kentuckians in need of life saving cancer screenings or those who have been diagnosed with cancer. Contact us for additional information regarding these organizations or other resources that may be available in your area.

  • Colon Cancer Prevention Project  The Colon Cancer Prevention Project is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to eliminating preventable colon cancer.

  • Hope Lodge  The American Cancer Society Hope Lodge is a free service available to cancer patients ages 18 and over traveling to Lexington for cancer treatment. 
  • I Have Wings Breast Cancer Foundation – “No One Goes Solo” Foundation provides emergency financial assistance
  • Kentucky Cancer Program  Promotes cancer related education, research and service programs

  • Kentucky Colon Cancer Prevention Program
  • Kentucky Women’s Cancer Screening Program The Kentucky Women’s Cancer Screening Program is a federally funded, public health program providing free or low-cost breast and cervical cancer screening and diagnostic services to eligible women in Kentucky. Services like mammograms and Pap tests are offered through local health departments and participating clinics around the state.

  • My Pink Navigator – provides chemo and beauty bags for patients going through a cancer diagnosis.

  • Needy Meds  Informational website that has up-to-date contact and instructions about various pharmaceutical manufactures’ drug assistance programs
  • Patient Advocate Foundation  Provides effective mediation and arbitration services to patients to remove obstacles to health care including medical debt crisis, insurance access issues and employment issues for patients with chronic, debilitating and life-threatening illnesses
  • QUIT NOW Kentucky – FREE service to help Kentuckians quite smoking or quit using tobacco products
  • Robin’s Nest Northern Kentucky provides financial assistance to cancer patients in Boone, Campbell and Kenton counties in Kentucky.  To qualify for assistance you must have been diagnosed with cancer within the previous six months, currently undergoing medical treatments for the cancer, or recovering from medical treatments completed within the last six months.
  • Shirley’s Way Provides financial support to individuals under medical care for cancer and other diseases.
  • Surgery on Sunday  Surgery on Sunday, Inc. works closely with community partners to provide essential outpatient surgical procedures to income-eligible individuals. Patients are referred to Surgery on Sunday, Inc. by numerous partner agencies.
  • Stamp To Cope  Provides rubber stamping/art supplies to breast cancer survivors as an art therapy method of coping
  • The Fighter’s Fund Financial support for colon cancer patients – based on available funding
