Carla Bio

KCL08Carla works as a Patient Navigator at Kentucky CancerLink. Carla graduated from the University of Kentucky with a BS in Dietetics in 1996 and spent 10 years counseling patients at a Lexington radiation clinic. Those 10 years had a profound affect on Carla and after a couple of years away from oncology, she was blessed to have the opportunity to join Kentucky Cancer Link first as a volunteer in September of 2013 and then as a staff member in March of 2014. She considers it a privilege to join cancer patients during their journey, meeting them where they are, and finding a way to help meet some of their needs.
