Lung Cancer Screening Eligibility

Kentucky CancerLink currently has funding provided by the Kentucky Lung Cancer Screening Program (KLCSP) through the Kentucky Department for Public Health to provide NO-COST Low Dose CT-Scans to those that meet the eligibility requirements.

Low Dose CT-Scan

  • Ages 50-80 AND
  • You have smoked a pack a day for 20 years OR 2 packs a day for 10 years AND
  • If your currently smoke or you have quit smoking within the past 15 years 
  • Uninsured individuals or those with Medicare ages 78-80
  •  Kentucky Resident (includes those with Social Security Number, Green card holders, or individuals with work/school visas)
  • Financial eligibility based on INDIVIDUAL income. Maximum individual income is $47,880 (may be higher if you have dependents and no other income).  Speak with a patient navigator about your options!
